We need to win THE GAME.
One win this century against coaches named Tressel and Meyer won’t do it.
The 2019 OSU game may be the most important one of Harbaugh’s career. It’s at home with a (hopefully) senior QB, experienced OL and talented WR. And it will be vs a first time OSU HC.
Tressel setup his 10 year run largely based on the 2001 game against us. We had a team that should have beat OSU handily but we somehow found a way to lose. Next year he wins the National Championship and we’ve never really recovered, or certainly been equals in the rivalry.
If Day beats Harbaugh in his first year as a first year HC in our house,...ugh. I can’t bear to think it.
We will be OK if we lose Harrison and Hill. But we absolutely will take a major hit in football if we lose next year to OSU.
