One of the most important attributes of U.S. Naval and Air Force fighter pilots is SA. Flight instructors spend considerable time trying to determine whether or not you have SA before a student becomes a squadron fighter pilot. And, there seems to be similarities between Quarterbacks and fighter pilots. They both need SA! You would hope, much like flight instructors, college coaches could determine whether or not a QB has enough Situation Awareness before live action. What a mess!
