Yes, of course I have been crunching numbers and looking a lots of box scores all morning
PUNCH LINE:
1. I think we will run the ball effectively early,
2. Wisconsin will get out of their base defense and sellout by filling the box
3. Cade will take advantage of matchups with our WR
Observations
Wisconsin has a very good Run defense
Wisconsin is clearly the best run defense we have seen this season
AND
We are clearly the best run offense they have seen this season
This will be strength against strength
PSU ran for 2.8 yds / carry and we are significantly better running team than PSU
So what does this mean?
Wisconsin enters that game determined to stop the Michigan running game
We will be very intentional about running the ball early against Wisconsin. We will not shy away from running.
We will run the ball somewhat effectively (3.5 yds/carry) against their base defense.
They will NEED to cheat an extra man into the box
PS Notre Dame Offense Line
ND's offensive line is terrible. virtually every defense they played against had it's best day against ND
ND vs FSU ran for 65 yds on 35 carries (1.9 yds / carry)
FSU's other opponents: Jacksonville State, Wake Forest, Louisville all basically DOUBLED those numbers vs the FSU defense
