Looks like Rudock will start the game and will be yanked if not doing well immediately WHICH is the right call to make when it comes to QB play. I have to give Harbaugh credit for developing Morris rapidly enough to be ready to go at any moment. I personally did not think Shane would make it, however, I give a massive amount of credit to him for maturing, not giving up, and competing each and every play. Imagine how he would have been at this point had Brady Hoke decided to actually coach his quarterbacks. This is a great situation for Michigan to be in this year fellow fans. Harbaugh is putting Michigan at the QB spot in an excellent position for this season as well as next season.

If Jake gets pulled we might as well turn the TV off and go to bed. Shane is not the guy and if he was he would be starting. "74

I'm going to trust Harbaugh's decision making on this one and I could care less who is behind the center as long as we do not LOSE and they LEAD the offense and not turn the ball over. Remember that Morris had ZERO coaching for two years and Harbaugh is known for coaching the QB's. If Morris DOES play (I still think Rudock starts) Harbaugh is NOT going to let him turn the ball over and keep him in.

The OR doesn't necessarily mean the first guy gets the start, the or just means... or.

In this case, it says OR, but it will be Rudock. I don't think he's going to have a short leash or anything.

I don't believe it's as close as he's making it seem, and I may eat some crow here, but I don't think Shane will ever see any meaningful time at Michigan, unless it is due to an injury.

It has to be Rudock, given his experience as a Big Ten starting QB. No doubt the Utes are counting on that as well.

Jabrill Peppers starts at QB running the option and catching the entire Utah D by surprise who keeps spending hours preparing for I-formations :) Just kidding, though that would crack me up!

I read that this is the 1st time Morris has ever really looked at film in his time at UM. Kalis states that some of the footwork/techniques they're learning under Drevno are brand new to all of them. And my favorite-Darboh or Chesson said in spring ball this is the first time the QBs are coached to not throw it as hard as they possibly can on underneath/crossing routes.
Clearly very little actual coaching was taking place under the previous staff. Thanks, Clappy.

Geez!!!!!!!! talk about inept coaching or just lazy as hell and banking millions. Reading this makes me puke. How in the hell do you get paid MILLIONS of dollars and get to do nothing on your job and then get fired only to parachute out of the deal with another few MILLIONS and sit on your A** for a few years until you convince dome other idiot that you are a great coach and deserve another chance.

Hoke is what he is - nice guy, not a good coach. I don't blame him. He was never qualified for the job. The person I am most angry at is Brandon. The Guy could have had Harbaugh or Miles, but was too arrogant, and hired a "Yes" man as a coach. Brandon was horrible.

How about those who hired Brandon? Where does the responsibility lie with Mary Sue (don't have a clue) Coleman?
I am not sure anyone could have predicted how Brandon would turn out. He had stellar credentials. Former football player under Bo, successful business man, and he was a regent for the University.
