Henne was lights out his last dozen to fifteen games when healthy. Go back and watch how well he managed the OSU 06 game and the FL 08 bowl games. His ability to change plays at the line, recognize coverages, etc. was fantastic. He might have had more WR talent (Chesson's play the last half of the season might change my opinion on that), but he did not have a Butt at TE or an OC of the quality we have in Drevno, Harbs, and Fisch. Both Rudock and Henne were great at the end of the college careers, I'd take either under this staff.I think Jake had a better year then Henne IMHO. Henne is a more accurate passer and can make all types of passes with a really good pocket presence but he also played with incredibly supreme talent that surrounded him (Edwards, Hart, Long, Manningham, etc) Henne had about 6-7 future NFL players on offense with him. Rudock on the other hand is a better game manager and about 100x more mobile then Henne and was able to really use his legs to keep us in many drives. I can only imagine how good Rudock would have been had he been able to play another season under Harbaugh. Great kid, great get and hope he gets a shot at the NFL in some capacity for a couple years before he pursues his medical degree...very high ceiling and high caliber kid.

True enough. In part because I'm still not infatuated with the grad transfer concept, I was extremely hard on Jake the first half of the season.I have to gently remind my brothers here that that was certainly not the concensus of this this board the first half of the season.
I'm sentimentally biased, but it's players like him that make me love this school. Great kid, keeps chin up, wants to do great things on and off the field, etc. It's great to be a Wolverine!True enough. Not that he needed to, but he certainly earned my respect with his grit, courage, and ... play on the field. He is a tremendous young man, all you could want in a Michigan Man. He was just outstanding today. I'd love to see him play on Sundays, and then be my doc after. My hats off to him!
