In a week I’ll be driving from Norfolk VA, back to Ann Arbor. The GPS gives me two options.
Option 1: via Richmond, Washington DC, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Toledo, AA. (10:20hrs)
Option 2: via Richmond, West Virginia, Columbus, Toledo, AA. (11:10hrs)
So if I’m leaving at 12:30pm on a Tuesday after a holiday what kind of traffic am I gonna hit going through D.C., Pittsburgh, and Cleveland in the afternoon? Would I be better off taking the route through WV and avoid major cities or will it be faster still to take the route through DC?
Tolls do not matter I’ll have a pass with me. TIA
