Michigan is a DOG in 2017
No doubt this is a good Michigan team. However, as of today, before Michigan has played a single snap, virtually everyone who opines about college football, the media and the talking heads thinks Michigan should be an UNDERDOG to OSU (HOME) , PSU (ROAD) and Wisconsin (ROAD). They also see that Michigan should be only slightly favored over Florida on a neutral site.
Wait What??
Following the "collective wisdom" of the talking heads in the national and local media means Michigan is a 9-3 team with possibilities for 8-4. We drink a lot of Koolaid here. This season has more "downside" for the collective expectations of this board than it has "upside"
Nobody Knows Nothin
Remember that "Nobody know nothin". Even we don't know nothin. College football is like that.
It is especially true for this Michigan team this season. So many new young players.
This Michigan team might be a playoff team and we could also be a worst case 7-5 team.
DANGER!: If we lose to Florida we might be looking at 8-4 with a downside of 7-5
DELIGHT!: If we blowout Florida we might be looking at 11-1 or 10-2
BINGE WATCHING: If PSU (Pitt, Iowa) or OSU (Indiana,Oklahoma) struggle In early games it bodes well for our season.
