God was Kentucky lucky. They made a number of contested circus shots in that game that they normally miss and Michigan missed quite a few uncontested bunnies they normally make. Can't help but feel if that game was replayed 10 times that Michigan would've won 8. The Wildcats had literally no defense for Michigan's offense. They got open looks all game long. We had big trouble on the defensive glass, but even allowing that we still should've won by 10+ points.

Frustrating way to lose a tourney game. Would've loved a rematch with Wisconsin and then a potential title game with UConn.

Oh well, go get 'em next year.

UK Did have their starting center out.

And not sure just taking the ball to the hole for a foul or put back is a circus shot.

A. Harrison did not even hit a 3 until late 2nd half.

Great game, but I think UK could hold their own in a 10 game format.

I'm talking about the crazy off balance runners that actually went in. Kentucky struggled on almost every possession to get a good shot early in the game. They were great at getting offensive rebounds and put backs, but they also made a ton of off balance circus shots. Michigan on the other hand seemed to get an open look nearly every trip down the court and was even missing quite a few bunnies.

Just seemed like a wasted opportunity when I rewatched it.
