Onwenu was impressive in first start, particularly in run blocking. He pulled quite a few times and hit a target more often than not. And he bulldozed defensive linemen across the line from him. He got beat a couple of times but won way more battles than he lost.

The OL as a whole looked much better than a year ago.

McKeon and Eubanks had nice games. Eubanks can stretch the defense and McKeon is reliable on the shorter routes; and after McKeon caught the passes he immediately turned upfield and lowered his pads on contact getting an extra yard or two. McKeon also did a pretty nice job blocking.

Wheatley made a couple of nice blocks, but he was inconsistent.

The speed on D is impressive.

Mason is a beast on special teams. I would hate to get in his way when he is covering kicks and can't wait to see him cream some linebackers as the lead blocker.

I had forgotten that Speight missed a wide open Crawford....sigh.

McDoom?? hope he does more than jet sweeps this year.

Best linebacking corps I've seen in AA for quite sometime. Don't forget that McCray was less than 100%.

Does Brandon Peters ever interact with teammates?

Metellus and Kinnel had a really good game ... could be an outstanding tandem.

Perry had a bonehead mistake, but he made a hell of catch that set up our only offensive TD in the second half.

We really, really, need Speight to step up his game. It doesn't appear that their is really a good second option. I would love to know what the deal is with Peters.
