Thanks...the intuition was simple. Clark basically committed to UNC, then to Michigan, then waffled. He just seemed like a kid that was going to end up going with the place that impressed him the most over the past 2-3 weeks versus their total body of work. Hard to compete with the UCLA environment. The reason I said he should have come to UM is because if you think about the past 6 years, Harbaugh's TE (Stanford and 49ers) have enjoyed break-out years...he loves using TEs and it would have been a sure way for him to make it to the Pros but he's a kid so he should do what he thinks is right for him.
Butt and Bunting are really good but we need depth in that position so I expect we will likely bring in 2 TEs next year.
