One way or another this is likely going to end today...either Harbaugh signs, he doesn't and goes to the NFL or he doesn't and the media crushes him as they do anytime they latch on to a story.

For those blaming Warde, sorry, I just don't buy it. Michigan has lost between a reported $56.5M and it could be as much as $100M (OSU says it could lose up to $130M in lost revenue).

These are REAL numbers and if you're the leader of an organization, during an effing PANDEMIC, you have to make tough/unpopular decisions.

I'm not saying it's the right one, but I can't blame someone who doesn't just sign up to lose $15-25M more. Texas is getting CRUSHED for paying $20M for guys NOT to do their jobs all while they've laid people off, furloughed a large portion of their staff and said they won't refill over 30 positions.

Is someone willingly forking over cash or are we just trying to tell someone how to manage money when tens of millions are at stake?

If any of you run a company and made the choice that you didn't want to sign up to lose $20M to fire your exec. staff because they wouldn't take salary cuts and furloughs...I wouldn't blame you. Not a direct correlation, but you get the point, it's not cut and dry like we want it to be.

Take a breath, hope that Harbaugh signs (unless you want him gone, then hope he's named the Chargers next head coach)...and let's wait to see what happens.
