Where are the boundaries of privacy? Granted, U of M is a state school, but isn't someone's work product somehow protected? The roster/depth chart is, in a sense, a work in progress. If an engineering prof is developing a (legal) patentable device at a public university, can some reporter file a FOIA suit to see what he is up to? I hope not.
