Just win one of these two with Michigan State and the one seed is a lock.
A loss in the quarters of the BTT won't hurt the seed line as there is no permutation possibly where two of Illinois/Osu/Iowa can pass Michigan (maybe Illinois can, but not two of them).
Alabama/Nova/Fsu might be able to grab a one seed, but none of those teams can pass Michigan (those teams would need all of the top four of the Big Ten to lose in the quarters and then win their own tournament). Houston can only max out at a two seed despite their impressive metrics.
