I remember when National Signing Day was like Christmas. You had commits who you knew were waiting to sign their letters on NSD and their commitments meant something. Now, it doesn't pay for you to count on anyone until the actual signature is on the letter because the landscape is so fluid. So, it is best to pay NO ATTENTION to recruiting until you know what you actually have.......because commitments are meaningless and to plan leads to heartbreak. The Hill flip was one that totally blindsided everyone. I was under the impression he was happy with his decision to play for UM and there was no evidence to the contrary. The OSU beatdown I think proves that one game can change minds.
