Yes, last night was total domination. It sucked. I find that taking time to remind myself of who we are (the Michigan program), helps put things into context. Aside from the magical 1997 season, here are the records for all the seasons up until JH came to UM.
10-3 - BTT
10-2
9-3 - BTT
8-4
10-3
10-3 - BTT
9-3 - last Big Ten Title (T-1)
7-5
11-2
9-4
3-9
5-7
7-6
11-2
8-5
7-6
5-7

That's 17 years. 3 seasons with less than 3 losses. 4 Big Ten Title (none in last 13 seasons). 0 National Titles. I need not remind everyone of our record against Ohio State during this time period.

JH has gone 10-3 in his first 2 seasons, which is equal or better than 14 of the last 17 seasons. This year is a step back, but most realistic people expected it to be given all that we lost (aside from the national media, which ranked us #5 for some reason).

I do believe that Harbaugh can get us to a sustained level of success where we are having 0-2 loss seasons every year (a la Ohio State) and consistently competing for BT and National Titles. However, many of you are asking JH to take Michigan to a level IT HAS NOT BEEN CONSISTENTLY in the last 20 years in just 2.5 seasons!! Until we get there, it's much more fun to just support the team and enjoy the ride!

Edit: Left off a couple BT titles - edited to correct.
