based on what I see for a couple of reasons.


1. Watched his tape. He has a 'passion' to play but he is a JB style player.

2. Most importantly. This team should be pretty good but unfortunately Chatman hasn't quite panned out yet and this program needs some insurance for the #4 spot.

3. I don't think Robinson is able to play the #4


So the way I see it...UM has a developing Dawkins/Irvin at the wings. LeVERT comes back then our guards/wings are really good and Dawkins coming off the bench. When JB wants to go small...throw in Robinson/Dawkins. Even if LeVERT goes then team is solid.

The weakness is at the #4 spot since the JB system needs to spread the floor. Doyle is more of a garbage lunch box type guy. I don't see Donnal as anymore than a specialty role player (see Max B). Wilson is still raw and developing.

Not a bad looking team. This team isn't that bad right now but is missing Walton and a #4 more than LeVERT. Not saying LeVERT isn't a big loss...don't misunderstand me but this team with Irvin/Dawkins and Robinson for next year can offset LeVERT assuming development.


Yes please on Wagner.

I also believe Wagner would be a great pickup mainly because you can't turn away a 6'10" skilled player. He is not an outstanding athlete but you can tell he is a good all around player by watching his video. He seems like an ideal player for Beilein with his height, shooting ability, passing ability, court awareness and high basketball IQ. I realize we need to get another point guard soon but you cannot turn away a talent like Wagner. Hopefully we land him.

The one thing that really stood out in his highlights was how well he moved for a 6'10 guy. He doesn't look like he's "lumbering" when he moves with the ball like big men typically do. It's an unteachable aspect of the game that Beilein could really build on, he could be quite the weapon.
