I don't know if this was clear on television, but from within the stadium, I noticed something interesting and I'm wondering if anyone else picked up on it...
After O'Korn got yanked, he pulled his helmet off and went and sat down on one of the benches along the back of the sideline. At that point, Peters and Malzone had helmets on warming up, first with each other, then with centers snapping the ball.
During the timeout prior to the drive when Peters entered, both Peters and McCaffrey (yeah, not a typo) were out on the field, helmets on, in the big "huddle" at the sideline, with O'Korn still away from the group, helmet off.
At one point, right before the end of the tv timeout, O'Korn actually started to walk out with the offense before being called back.
Am I mis-remembering any of this? This is what it looked like from my vantage point near field level in the south end zone.
The thing that stuck with me the most was that McCaffrey was out there in the huddle with his helmet on, and O'Korn was still sitting down with his helmet off
