It certainly helps Michigan that Callaway will not play against Michigan on September 2. I've read some say that the impact is minimal and the game will still be won or lost in the trenches. I think that's true to some extent, but if you asked me last week who is the one player I could pick to not play against Michigan I would have probably picked Callaway. Maybe OT Martez Ivey, maybe RB Jordan Scarlett, but probably Callaway because he is Florida's most explosive player and I'm worried more about giving up big plays than anything.
