We all watched the dancing with Harris and an unusual recruiting situation that UM went through. Bo talked about a similar situation in his book. Apparently a WR told Bo he couldn't decide between ND and UM. Bo said "I'll make your decision easier. I'm withdrawing the scholarship." Don't know what happened to the WR but Bo gave the last scholarship to a kid named Dave Gallagher. Gallagher became all Big Ten, and all Pro with the Bears. Bo's point was that desire for a school was stronger than ratings.

Wish Harris all the best but not mourning the loss. Maybe Gruff (i.e. Prickhead) can recall the wr's name.

Bo was the best, what balls!

I liked evans better anyway. Also Kareem walker and other guys who could potentially be studs. Too much running backs here

When we start actually blocking people, the RBs we have on the team are good enough.
We'll see what the mighty Drevno produces next season...

Harris is a rare talent and a big bummer we could not get him. However, in all honesty, he was not the biggest need in this class. At the end of the day, it starts with a good O-line and we have to build a foundation there first. You could be a blend of Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson, but if you don't have a line that can block you are not going to do squat. I don't blame the kid for going to Bama where he will have the best O-line blocking for him and a school that has sent it's past 5 RBs into the NFL. Michigan probably hurt itself a LOT during the FSU game when Kalis and EM could not do squat. I think we will be just fine without Harris and best of luck to Harris.

As I said in another post - if you would told me that we could get Harris but not get Ruiz or DPJ, I would have been more bummed. We have some solid RBs in our program. Take a chapter from the Badgers - 3 star RBs, big O-line and all their backs go Pro as a result!

I also remember that, AND that is one reason Bo finally left. He said he felt like a prostitute trying to sell the program and had enough of the Prima donnas. "74
