1. Really poor field position throughout the first half. Wouldn’t be opposed to making a fair catch once in awhile.
2. Hard to complain about Shea, but I wish he would check down to RB more often. A few times during the game Higdon was wide open in the flat.
3. It was nice to see Gary, Paye and Winovich on the field at the same time.
4. Still incredible how random things seem to work against Michigan. NW FG kicker kicks career long FG, Michigan called for the worst holding call in the history of college FB .... just really strange things like the blocked punt by MSU.
5. McKeon dropped pass ... just can’t let that happen.
6. Collins has to learn to understand down and distance .. turn up the field please.
7. Reverse to DPJ was a thing of beauty ... really good to see offensive linemen 25 yds downfield blocking.
8. Started too many drives deep in our own territory because of poor decisions and penalties.
9. Good to see Shea use his legs ... would like to see him tuck it when he takes off though.
10. I would like to see a WR screen to Bell.
11. Trailing 17-10, NW had 10 men in the box. Obviously single coverage on the outside. We handoff to Higdon and the play is blown up when Onwenu failed to get over in time to block their very good DE. Just poor play design .. why not take a shot?
12. We did try a slant on the on the goal line but Collins had Alligator arms ... maybe that’s why we haven’t attempted more.
13. Offensive line was really good in pass protection. In fact the only sack was a coverage sack.

15. Would like to see the RB’s used a little more in the pass game.
16. Nice to see Patterson use his eyes to move defenders.
17. Dwumfour, Paye and Uche came to play. Nice to see those young guys beginning to blossom.
18. Surprised I didn’t see Hutch on the field.
19. I had to look twice at the stat sheet ... Devin was credited w/ one assisted tackle .
20. Not so pretty wins beat the hell out of the alternative.
And finally a question: Has a Harbaugh coached team ever come back from a 17-pt deficit?
