Oak Park (Mich.) High 2020 offensive tackle Justin Rogers isn't a big talker so transcribing his very short answers after visiting Michigan this weekend didn't seem all that necessary.
He was seen spending a lot of time talking with former teammate and current Michigan freshman Ja'Raymond Hall before the game and clearly enjoyed his time in Ann Arbor. He said that he didn't really do anything new or different this time but still had an enjoyable experience for another Michigan win.
Rogers said that the coaches still haven't really talked about an offer for him but it's something that he thinks about each time he heads to Ann Arbor. The 6-2, 289-pounder has been at both of Michigan's home games this fall and is definitely hoping to pick up that offer by being present and showing that he's interested. This is an approach that Julian Barnett and Devontae Dobbs, in-state 2019 targets from Belleville, have not taken.
Rogers does hold an offer from Ohio State and I suspect that he'll get one from Michigan at some point too. He was dominant at Ohio State's Friday Night Lights camp resulting in the offer and if he's able to perform like that at one of U-M's Big Men camps, the outcome could be the same.
