As the House settlement comes together for the NCAA, one of the biggest sticking points as been the roster limits. The Judge rightfully believes this will be unfairly detrimental to walk on players and that a lot of players will lose scholarships. The options being proposed are that the roster limits be scaled down over time, so first 125, then 115, then 105 or that current players are grandfathered in similar to what they did with Covid exemptions.
Either way, it seems very likely that there won't be hard 105 cut this fall. I'll keep an eye on it.
