Michigan hosted 2025 TE De'Angelo Hall for a midweek visit this week. While the process is still early for him, he had a successful visit to Ann Arbor to get acquainted with campus and to get familiar with Grant Newsome.
I spoke with Hall about his visit and below are a few highlights of the discussion.
- Despite not currently having an offer from U-M, Newsome is recruiting him as a tight end currently.
- He says the visit was great and what stuck out to him the most was the wall of game balls from each win in program history that is on display at Schembechler Hall.
- The weight room, which should come as no surprise, was also a highlight of his trip
- He enjoyed his time with Newsome and said the TE coach was 'very cool and chill' and also picked up some new things that he will take back and add to his game
- The facilities impress Hall the most about the U-M program
- After the visit, the Wolverines are currently 'top three for sure' despite not holding an offer from the program yet. I expect that to become more significant once the program does offer.
