Is it possible that Pep's passing offense requires too much from an average college QB?
Bear with me. How many times have we seen NFL coordinators fail at the college level (and I'm not saying Pep will)?
Cam Cameron, Bill Callahan...I'm sure there are others. These guys have been tailoring offenses for the best of the best . They have a heck of a lot of time to install their system and rep it in practice and in preseason games.
Is it possible that an average college QB, playing behind an average college offensive line with a young, inexperienced receiving corps is being asked to do too much?
Or, will they gradually get more comfortable as the season progresses. And, if that's the case, will it happen before it's too late.
