People mentioned that Malzone keeps the ball low around his waist and had to bring it up when he wanted the throw thereby tipping his passes, but in photo 18 it looks like Morris has an equally bad flaw, that being his hand is over he ball as he takes his arm back and then has to sort of loop it to release it on top. It would also seem that with his hand on top of the ball it would more likely be swatted out of his hands by a defender or merely dropping the ball than he would be if his hand was more underneath it as part of his throwing motion.
I am surprised, this has not been corrected or is Morris just falling into a bad habit? Can't believe this is proper technique. Maybe it leads to some of his accuracy issues, like a hitch in a baseball or golf swing.
Thoughts anyone?
