Question ... knowing that the defense has such huge holes at LB and DL .. and the defense would clearly be behind the offense .. why didn't they hit the transfer portal hard?
I know it was said many times they were going to really go after the portal and then we didn't land a single defensive transfer .. why? In fact, I'm not sure we were even in on any big ones
and before anyone says we can't get transfers ... we took 2 on offense in Willie Allen and Alan Bowman ... so why did we focus on offense and not defense in the portal?
