I know many will puke, but just listening to Urb and then to Fields, and it is apparent that Meyer spent a great deal of his time on QB development, and it sounds like Day does the same.
In today’s college football, is there a more important position on the field? Offense wins games. Having a QB that can command the offense is the only way you win at a high level.
So I ask, does JH spend enough time personally developing this position? I don’t know enough to say yes or no, but past updates indicate he is more of a CEO, so I have to wonder if he does.
I also would say, outside of Ruddock, we just haven’t seen QB’s progress all that much. Now, different coaches, systems, so have to assume that is part of it, but I would really like to see JH take an active role in this regard.
I think many would agree, QB is why we have not achieved the success many thought we would. Let’s hope Milton is the start of a really good run. Milton seems like a kid that wants to be coached, and same with JJ.
