So the BSU player pump fakes, gets the defender in the air. Defender comes down, BSU player jumps into him trying to draw the foul. Now, I don't really care about the arguments that end of game situations should be officiated differently or that it was 'lame' for the BSU player to try to draw the foul there. What I want to know is, isn't it a blocking foul in a normal game situation if the defender doesn't have his feet set? Clearly in this situation, the defender was back on the ground when contact was initiated. But knowing that he'd just bought the head fake, he couldn't have got his feet set, right? Or am I behind on some rule change?
