In watching pregame warm ups before last night’s game, I watched both Kolesar and Henning catching punts as I was curious to see who was possibly going to handle that duty against Washington. While I know it was only pregame warm-ups, I noticed that Kolesar caught every punt kicked to him while Henning has a few drops. I also saw one of the Assistant Coaches who was watching the punt returners provide some type of instruction to Henning after each of his drops. With that said, it will be interesting to see how the punt return game evolves over the course of the season, but it is obvious that at this time the staff has more confidence in Kolesar not putting the ball on the ground thus giving the opponent a short field.
