Thoughts

If this were Michigan's class for the 2022 cycle, it'd almost certainly rank as a top-20 class, potentially upwards of top-15 if some of these guys get bumps in their recruiting profiles after a weird COVID year made evals a bit unsteady. My initial thoughts would be overall a B-. Not great, but serviceable enough in the aftermath of some major staff changes.

The strengths would be the defensive line, wide receivers, and secondary here. That potential WR trio of Morris, Trent, and potentially Bell looks really promising. And then that defensive line group has a lot of intriguing players, though I'm curious if they'd take multiple big DT's like Walker and potentially a Kenneth Grant or Tawfiq Thomas. Finkley and Miles can play the interior DT positions aside from NT. I also like the potential in that edge group, even if it's not as star-studded as you'd like. I'm very skeptical they ultimately land Walter Nolen, even with the positive updates we've seen. Just something about top ranked kids from the South that leaves me in a "believe it when I see it" mindset.

The weakest parts here would be offensive line and linebacker. They've recruited OL pretty well recently, so they can manage, but it's not a great cycle for them there. And same at linebacker if they don't land Cheeks. I just get a feeling he's not ending up at Michigan. Would be very dependent on the staff being right about Alexander.

Anyways, who do you think they'll land that maybe isn't on here?
