I have a (virtual) stack of papers to grade but am struggling to get started. So what better way to procrastinate than to take another stab at guessing how the 21 class will finish out and give an initial guess for the 2022 class. 2021 is pretty straight forward. I think Michigan lands Edwards, Benny, Rooks, and Cooper to finish out the class. That should keep the group solidly in the top 10. I think this class is going to turn out to be the foundation for a lot of really good football. They have difference makers on every level and solid depth guys at each position group. As good as the 2021 class is I think the 22 group will be elite. I'll admit that this is an optimistic prediction but I also don't think it's unrealistic. I can't remember Michigan being in the top group for so many guys this early. Obviously it's really early and a lot can change between today and Feb 22 but it's fun to think about the possibilities right now. We've come a long way from the claims that our recruiting staff and approach were broken last spring.
