Michigan State's Offense vs. Michigan's Defense:
MSU will get Conklin, Kieler, and Price back. Allen is still a question mark. Michigan's defense is good and the game is in Ann Arbor. Because of this MSU will struggle most of the game. However, MSU has a true 50/50 attack. I think MSU and muster 17-24 points.

Michigan's Offense vs. Michigan State's Defense:
MSU has had issues in the passing defense this season. Michigan could take advantage of this on Saturday. Michigan has run the ball better this season then in the recent past. However, it has been quite a while since Michigan has been able to hand the ball off and run for success against MSU. This could be the year this changes but it will have to be proven. When Rodock has a good running game he becomes a pretty good QB. When Rodock has no running game he struggles. For all the issues MSU has on defense. The Michigan offense is a good fit for the Spartans. I believe this aspect will be the key to the game.

Special teams:
This is one area the Michigan has a big advantage. I don't think it will lead to a direct score, but it should lead to much better field position throughout the game.

Intangibles:
Coaching = even
Home field = Michigan
Turnover Margin = MSU
(MSU+8 / UM-1)
Cook 75% of his passes are 10 plus yards down the field and he has 2 picks.
Rudock 75% of his passes are either behind the line or with in 10 yards down the field 6 picks.

Prediction:
UM 27
MSU 21

I always hedge :) If it's a close game, I think MSU pulls through because they have been doing so and know how to play in very tight games where as Michigan has been on the losing end of a close game and in blowouts that they have won. I am hoping for a blowout as well from Michigan - close game and I will be worried. I predict 27-17 Michigan. I think our defense is legit but getting Conklin will be huge for MSU and they will score but I think Michigan will be ready and I think by the 2nd half Michigan will pull away :)

First off good game last night. My pregame predations were very accurate. The game unfolded just about the way I thought it would.

Some post game thoughts:
* I don't understand why Harbaugh would not attack two true freshmen safeties?
* On the last play. I thought Michigan/Harbaugh did a bad job coaching. He used his last two timeouts to set the punt up. If he would have saved one and punted as the time was running. Michigan could have then used it's finial timeout to adjust to MSU's 11 man rush.
* I thought with the issues that MSU has on defense. They matched up well with UM's issues on offense. The result was 230 total yards.
* I was surprised that MSU's O-line gave Cook as much time as he had to throw.
* Great special teams really kept Michigan in the game for the most part.
