Was just listening to Dan Mullens interview here pre-game and it really reinforced concerns I have with how we play. And I am not a Mullen guy like a lot of people here, just an observation.

First, they asked why Trask has been so good and the majority of what he stated was his ability to see who the defense is taking away and going to the other guys. So, a lot of pre-snap identification of coverages. I really believe this is where Milton just was not prepared.

He also mentioned play calling, out let receiver in the RB, and taking advantage of what the D is giving you.

I would really like to hear Gattis or JH in the same interview and see how they provide answers in what our offense is trying to do.

Milton would look to the sideline, did we actually adjust plays, ever? Isnt the whole point of looking to the sideline to adjust to what coaches are seeing from the D? I assume Milton had little to no ability to audible, so we essentially were running plays regardless of whether or not it was being run into the teeth of a defense.

Not sure if this changes with Cade but he clearly was more effective at pre-snap reads. But I still wonder about our play calling and our coaching, do we just practice what we like or do we actually game plan to expose weaknesses of others? Sometimes I wonder.
