What should be one of the top five entrances in all of college football has fallen short this year.

I love the brief video of Harbaugh addressing the team in the lockerroom and Darth Vaders pregame video.

However, part of the excitement of sports like college basketball, and college football in particular is the buildup to the team taking the field.

One of two, or both of the following should occur.
a) the cameras should follow the team out of the lockerroom through the end of the tunnel.
b) the team has been rushing the field from deeper inside the tunnel this year, which would be fine if the cameras were on them but I have always found the buildup and excitement better when the the line of the team is partially out of the tunnel as they are getting ready to touch the banner.

Silly?? Maybe, but just some thoughts about a better pregame.

One of the most recognizable and exciting game day entrances in college football, the GO BLUE banner has been a staple at Michigan football games since 1962. This tradition has been performed by the Wolverines for nearly 50 years prior to the kickoff of every game at the Big House. After exiting the locker room, the team comes down the tunnel in unison. From that small hole at midfield, all the players can view is the large 30 by five foot banner that extends across midfield. On the directive, the players and staff run toward the banner that reads:
