Happy New Year to all except Bama, Clemson and OSU.
I was watching the 1993 classic, Carlito’s Way last night right and I realized that the movie was just trying to share with its viewers one basic, practical life lesson: Be on time when you have a train to catch.
This got me thinking about the true life lessons that some of my other favorite movies were trying to convey. Here are a few I came up with. Feel free to add on as you see fit.
Carlito’s Way: Be on time when you have a train to catch
The Godfather Trilogy: Don’t work in the family business
Star Wars Movies: Every major problem can only be solved by the same 5 people
Die Hard: Good footwear is important
Casino: Bro’s before hoes
Pulp Fiction: Never drop a deuce in a stranger’s apartment
Tombstone: Your best friend is more reliable than your wife, even if he’s an alcoholic and degenerate gambler
Stepbrothers: Respect Billy Joel’s 1980’s discography
