So Iowa announces that they'll retire Luke Garza's number being the all-time scoring leader, and two time player of the year in the Big Ten and possibly a third time this year, but the family of deceased Roy Marble who WAS the scoring leader until Garza showed up is furious Marble's number was not retired, the son saying he will never watch another Iowa game. Iowa is now scrambling to "honor him the way that he should be."

Marble family hurt by Garza honor; AD apologizes
Iowa athletic director Gary Barta apologized to the family of Hawkeyes basketball great Roy Marble on Tuesday for any hard feelings they have over the retirement of star player Luka Garza's number.
