I always hear losing fans talk about calls that should have been and could have been. In my opinion there were 5 clearly blown calls in the IU game that could have changed the outlook of the game:
- Offensive pass interference on IU - that was a terrible call, we got lucky.
- Pass interference on Michigan (not sure which player in the 3rd quarter) when the guy was completely untouched and ball ended up being on 3 yard line as a result instead of a 4th down.
- Holding by IU on the Howard TD in the 4th quarter. He was clearly holding the jersey of the Michigan player and it was completely missed.
- Lewis fumble at kickoff. Lewis clearly fumbled but we lucked out that forward progress was called. That should have been IU ball.
- Missed personal foul on IU against Ruddock when he had already slid.
