A lot of experimentation takes place early in fall camp. The last 7-10 days of camp are what matters most when it comes to the depth chart. There may be 1 or 2 battles that are unsettled until game day. This year, those 1 or 2 battles will likely be at RT, CB, and possibly punter or kick-off. Throw the KR/PR duties in there too.

RT is not a dire situation either. Runyan is very capable and I still expect him to win the job. JBB is right there along with Ulizio and Filiaga. On the other side, Hill will get pushed until game week. He has the talent, but lacks consistency. Every CB on the team wants a shot at him. You can't hide when the lights are on.

Finally, and to my point about camp stories. Drake Harris having 5 picks last week sounds amazing! Well, when you are up against the 3's and 4's you should shine. Not saying he can't be a good CB at all, but you have to temper expectations from a guy who has never played CB, got ran off by true Fr at WR, and has barely played in many CFB games. Ron Johnson is another example. That experiment failed. He is no longer inside and has moved out behind Winovich where he belongs.
