PI Calls

It's called home field advantage. All the calls are to be expected. Nothing too bad in all honesty. Should they have thrown the flag on OSU in 2nd OT. Yes but not blatant. It would have been called the other way.

UM lost this game on that 3rd TO and staff being too conservative up by 3 pts rather than recognizing they need to score. Rode the defense too much late.

In fact, another bobo made by Harbaugh was they could have called a TO late in that last regulation drive and had probably 30-40 seconds left to work with.

I can't blame the coaches - yes, they got a little tight at times but this one's on Speight with an assist from the refs. The spot on 4th down was questionable - the pass interference against Perry that they didn't call was the same call they made against Hill, which if OSU doesn't get - they probably don't tie the game up. Or they could have just tackled Samuel...

Play calling, play calling, play calling. That is the reason that we aren't undefeated. It cost us at Iowa and it cost us today. If I never see Peppers in the wildcat again, it will be too soon!

Play calling was great today - just poor execution and playing against the refs.

This is the question that needs to be posed to Harbaugh.

If you need Peppers in the wildcat to run the ball then why would you believe running the ball late is a viable option.

If UM has a better tailback then you wouldn't see Peppers right?

No, running back talent is a plus on this team. The OL is average at best though. Losing Newsome was a big, big blow. Harbaugh has Michigan competitive in every game in year two. Need his guys before we are dominant again.

I think we should see remarkable improvement in a couple years. Our O-line is terrible, Deveon tries to run into people as opposed to make moves and get more yards, our WRs drop passes. They are all great dudes but lack of discipline and toughness when it counts. It starts with the O-line and that has to get fixed for us to compete. Despite the 2 INTs, I am really excited about Speight next year - and if he gets beat by Peters, it means we are set at QB.
