He'll be better than Speight who had an unimpressive day to say the least.
If not for experience, Peters would be the guy IMHO.

Also, Glasgow is another nice surprise.

Everyone should know speight can't win this team a national championship. Peters might not either but hey it's a better chance. Even if speight progressed alittle it's still not enough. Who knows maybe peter is a complete beast at the college level. I'd rather find out then risk losing games because speight is more experienced

Speight seems like he needs the running game to work, which opens up the pass. He struggled when the running game was stuck in the ditch and defenses could focus on the pass. He's simply mistake prone when pressured and the same can be said about great ones.

If he can get better under pressure, I think that is where he needs to improve. Yet, not much can be done against Don Brown's defense.

I still doubt he loses his starting role. But he could be under thin ice if he slips up in the game.
