Wow. What a damn year. Now the Lions may jump Washington and Michigan into the 4th spot.

1. Alabama (damn near an NFL team and much better on defense than last year)
2. Ohio State-The Crier will cry about it.
3. Clemson
4. Penn State
5. Washington- Rose Bowl
6. Michigan-Orange Bowl
1st Round- Bama vs PSU - 56-6 (Bama)
2nd round - Clemson vs OSU- 34-31 (Bucks)
Championship- Bama vs OSU- Bama wins 42-26

Personally I think if you can't win your own conference, not sure how you can be in the playoffs. Either way, OSU does not get left out any which way you spin it.

I don't know if PSU deserves to get the nod over Washington....or O$U for that matter, but let's call it what it is. PSU played pretty damn strong football once they got healthy post Michigan. Not gonna talk smack against them for this season. Did what they had to do October/November/December.

Who had James Franklin over Harbaugh in first to win Big Ten title?. Well deserved to PSU. Franklin did a heck of a job and probably a more complete team than UM and PSU knew how to win.

That being said...

1. Alabama
2. OSU
3. Clemson
4. Wash
5. PSU
6. UM

PSU will be left out. With a blowout loss to UM and a loss to Pitt does not leap Washington who is much better than anyone wants to give them credit for and fighting the East/Midwest bias.

Wish I could see a UM vs. Okla matchup.

I didnt get to see the 4th qt of the B1G championship game (had to be rushed to the ER, finally feeling better now). But congrats to PSU on the win. I was positive that game was gonna go similiar to how the UM game went. but PSU came out after halftime and took care of business.

Of course we can always spit out "what-if's" & Franklin & Co. deserved what they achieved....but I do believe if you flip flop schedules between M & PSU Harbaugh & Company would have been in Indy tonight. Rutgers, Indiana & Purdue on the road wasn't exactly challenge city. Do I dare say we would have "found a way" vs. O$U in the Big House?

I think regardless Michigan will get a good matchup with the Orange Bowl seeming to be the destination. Louisville or FSU.....both verrry challenging. I just hope many of the Seniors don't "check out" after the late season disappointment

Michigan gets Rose if both PSU and OSU in playoffs. Ratings $$$$$$ is another possible factor for PSU over Washington.

Andy staples has a good take; really Washington and Clemson should be sitting at home watching OSU, PSU, and UM
