I know this is a bleacher report article but PSU is being so overblown IMO. In this article, they're rated at number 6?!? In the section on UM, who they have at 11 which seems reasonable, they call PSU a national championship contender! Maybe I'm crazy but I do NOT see it. I know they got hot down the stretch and they desrerve credit for that, but they don't scare in me the slightest. Barkley is a stud...beyond him, I don't think they have much.
It's hard to argue OSU as a contender, and I think Wiscy will be tough but I don't put PSU in that category.
I know this isn't a new conversation but the PSU thing continues to baffle me. Maybe it's because I live in central PA and I enjoy these peoples pain.
