Penn State fans just look at it this way

If you were in the West division you would be a win or two better every year and probly make the Championship game most years. It just so happens that the geniuses at the Big Ten in all their wisdom decided to load the best teams into the East division so you have to contend with Michigan and Ohio State every year.

Penn State should be thinking they will never have the overall player talent OSU has so they need to find a coach that sets them apart to make up the difference. Michigan has shown them it’s possible. Coaching in college is a game changer. NFL is all quarterback.

Franklin is clearly not it. Finishing top 10 is their cap until they find a top 5 coach. Worst coached game I’ve seen in awhile. Going for it on 4th down, and his misunderstanding of when to go for 2 on a score really set up Penn State for their inevitable outcome
