Paying College Athletes -- A Debate

As some of you may know, an organization called Intelligence Squared in New York sponsors debates over issues of the day. The debates tend to be very civil, structured, and interesting.

A few days ago, the group held a debate on whether colleges should pay its athletes. I've not yet watched it (it's 90 minutes long). But I'll stick it here for those who might be interested. The video is at this linked page.

Joe Nocera (Bloomberg journalist) and Andy Schwarz (an antitrust economist) argue for paying athletes. Christine Brennan (USA Today) and Len Elmore argue against.
