games very challenging. Other than Rutgers, even with our spectacular defense, I see some major issues in every game.

Minnesota- better than they have played, anything can happen on the road
IU - have to keep Sudfeld off the field but will be tough with our OL.
PSU- their DL will eat our OL alive but our defense should keep us close.
OSU- if OL is not firing at high speed by that game we have no chance.

With a defense like ours we could beat anyone but this OL has become a big liability.,

What? I'm not sure where this is coming from, but....no. Our OL is not elite, but has played well all season with exception of the Utah game on a few plays. They even did pretty well most of that game, Rudock just threw the ball poorly. Running game wasn't as bad as it could have been in that game either.

I'm confident of victories up through OSU game. We'll see how that plays out, but no evidence to suggest our OL is playing poorly

a strong passing game (down the field) will improve the OLs significantly. OL does a good job in pass protection but safeties (think MSU) jam the line of scrimmage.

OL is light years better than in the past few years. Running game has been good, except for MSU; and the QB has not been sacked very often. They are picking up blitzes, unlike in past years. QB does not have a real strong arm, that's true, which limits the offense; and he is not much of a threat to run. On the other hand, he does not make a lot of mistakes, mainly because the coaches rein him in. But I'd say that's the main limiting factor in the offense, not the OL.

If Rudock makes some plays we'll be fine.. We should be able to run the ball on everyone left on the schedule with moderate to high success.

I "liked" your post. While there is nothing to like about its content (other than it might be true), it takes fortitude to point out realities to myopics worried about shutouts.

I think most PSU fans would swap OL with you in a heartbeat. Even at home I dont see our team winning.
