so after doing spartie's talent/experience roster in the 'lets laugh at spartie' thread below (i love laughing at them and want so bad for them to repeat last year or worse), i decided to take a look at how we stack up.

64% blue chip rate (offense 64%, defense 64%) versus sparty 41%. experience (years in program = age) factor heavily favors sparty. i'm not going far enough to analyze their players not in bold type, but behind most of the 22 listed above is a very young - 1st or 2nd year in program - player.
i can see why sparty slappies are showing a bit of confidence. they have a roster that looks similar to the rosters that won b10 championships as far as rivals ratings but probably much less experienced as has been mentioned by those of you that know.
