other suggestions for worst call in college football history? Here's mine

For me, it was Charles White's "phantom touchdown" in the Rose Bowl, in what ended as a 17-10 USC win. The ball was clearly out at the 2-yard line, and after the game, to his credit, John Robinson said as much. And a way more important game....The phantom holding call in Bo's last game--again the Rose Bowl--negated a great call for a first down deep in USC territory and likely cost M a score and likely a win.
