Pretty crazy tournament. Yet again, none of the young guns made a peep. On the other hand, Kei Nishikori has established himself as one of the most consistent players on tour -- this was his 5th consecutive major QF. Pretty impressive.

#1-seed Djoker will play 23-seeded Roberto Bautista Agut in his semifinal after defeating 21-seeded David Goffin in his quarterfinal match. Those are the only two seeded players Djoker will have faced en route to what feels like an inevitable final against Nadal/Federer.

#2-seed Federer dropped the first set of his QF against 8-seeded Nishikori, who came out guns blazing. After that, it was all Federer. Federer defeated 27-seed Lucas Pouille in the R16 and the big serving 17-seed Mario Berrettini in the QF.

#3-seed Nadal whipped unseeded Sam Querrey in straight sets to set up the Federer/Nadal semifinal that everyone was hoping for. Oddly, Nadal has yet to face a seeded player (although Nick Kyrgios in the second round was a great challenge).

Can't wait to see the Fed/Nadal matchup. Can Fed avenge his semifinal loss at Roland Garros? Or, are we headed for our second Djoker/Nadal major final of the year?
