Going to buy my Father In Law a WiFi Extender for their house but would like The Fort’s help. Their modem/router is in a good location (main floor pretty centrally located), their house is almost identical in size layout to ours... but in their basement the WiFi signal is very weak. Home has a basement, main floor, and upstairs- about 2400 sq ft. He, like me, has a Dual Band router. My basement signal isn’t *great*, but it’s more than useable. His is borderline NOT even useable - I chalk some of that up to my router being much newer and a high model, but back to needing suggestions...
Go ahead and suggest exact models, or what to look for in models. Just asking for some direction... thanks guys
