Note this is not who do you WANT them to take, but what is your prediction on who they WILL take.

I threw Broberg and York in there because they are the next highest rated defensemen after Bowen on this consensus ranking that was posted this morning:https://www.habseyesontheprize.com/...-kakko-bob-mckenzie-athletic-hockey-prospects

They actually have UM commit York rated 13th overall and as the 2nd highest rated d-man. If the Wings really want a d-man and "reach" for one (assuming Bowen is gone) the most likely picks would be York or Broberg. Unlikely to happen, but not completely out of the question. Both York and Broberg have been ascending in recent evaluations.
